CHA Summer 2009 Sneak Peeks!! Anyone going?

Hey there!!!

Hope you all are doing good!!! Have you been seeing the CHA sneak peeks out there? I'm getting really excited because I'm going with some friends to the Supershow. It's an hour and a half away so i can't not go...yah know. Anybody going??? Let me know!! So we can meet and take pics!!

We're Crazy Real!!! and My 1st Video Blog Ever

Hello!! Here's another one of my layouts. I made 4 last Friday at a crop. So I have 2 more to share with you. For the record, that say's "fake" and "real" haha. Everyone seems to think that is says "bake" hahaha. "Fake" because..yah right we are never on our best behavior. We are always goofing off even in the finest restaurants. Don't get me wrong we're not the loud ones that you want to kick out, we're not that bad. I hope :)

So for this layout I used red and yellow glimmer mist and I learned that I need to spray the mist before I glue the pictures down. duh! I used paper from Jenni Bowlin, journal sticker from October Afternoon and Thickers from AC. Fun!! I love glimmer mists!! So addicted now.

Ok moving over to my very first Video Blog. So have you seen Ashley Newell's new video? So fun to see her on video!! Well she's challenged me to use my IMovie and film something. So I did! I love Kristina W's shopping video and love seeing what she bought. So since today is Scrap and Dash Wednesday at our local scrapbook store I figured i'd film the store, what I'm planning on buying and the layout of the day.

This video is really RANDOM. Sorry in advance if I drive you to take Advil. I was walking around trying to copy Mellypea and her weekly warehouse walks. Anyway, I had fun filming it so you may see more. I can't believe I blink that much. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Cheers everyone!!! My friends and I at Sonny's for dinner tonight!!! Thats Nick...love his facial expressiong. Julie is sporting her new white ceramic watch. Can you find me??? I have a note written on my hand..near my thumb.

I have a habit of writing there and not a the palm of my hand because I once walked into a meeting with a reminder note on my forehead. Why you may ask well I placed my head on my hand...thinking pose...and alas...note on my forehead. Glamorous!!

We all had so much fun at dinner tonight...I ordered all you can eat chicken and it came with two sides. Mac and cheese killer...but I can't eat it. I kept ordering pretending it was mine and I was giving it to Julie and Christy. What I do for my friends. . . .

This challenge was from Elizabeth K's blog. Love it...love the idea.

All Dolled Up! I love dressing up and eating!!!

Hello!!! I hope everyone had a great long weekend! I took yesterday off and I was back at work today

and Oh boy did I really felt it. I was there till 6:30p and still took work home. Yikes!!! But I was glad

to get Monday off. All I did was watch Gilmore Girls reruns the whole day. I love it!

Ok so I know you guys have seen these pictures from when my friends and I visited one of my favorite

restaurants up in Tampa called Burns Steakhouse. We all got "dolled up!!" My inspiration for this page

was Julies shoes that she bought earlier that day. They were so freakin' cute....ZEBRA of course. I've

had this paper for a while now that I got from TWOPEAS and just had to use it. I love this paper...

the zebra print is made out of flock...GENIUS.

By the way did you guys watch the memorial? I watched/listened to it at work. I just find it so sad that we always celebrate life when it's over. I lost it when Paris talked about her Dad. We should always "Celebrate Today" Love that phrase from Ali Edwards....Celebrate life....Celebrate Today!!!

Surprise!!! We're going to see the Jonas Brother's

Whooohooo you're 12!! It seems just like yesterday you were only 8. You're growing up so fast.

You're officially going to be a teenager in just a year. Crazy.....I should stop thinking about that.

So Sierra my neighbor and Co-workers daughter was the first person I met when I started working at Comcast. She was hanging out at the break room and we would watch TV together for lunch. I love hanging out with her...I forget that she is only 12, she is soo mature for her age.

Well for her Bday I handed her a card and told her that she was going to have to guess her present. So we played a quick game of Hang Man. When she finally realized what it was well...just look above. She could barely breath and talk. Ahh it was such an awesome moment. I can't wait to watch the Jonas Brothers with her when they get here.

Rasberry Suite Challenge #11 & Bevy of Butterflies

It's 3am, I'm up and can't sleep. I think that I'm most creative in the weee hours of the night or morning. Yikes.

So what do you think of those butterflies? I love them. The moment I saw them on the Unity blog I just had to have them....but I have one dilema...I'm not allowed to shop. So my friend Julie gave them to me. THANK YOU YULIE!!! Anyway, when I saw the cute little suckers I knew somehow I had to make them all fit into one project and make them fly. Heheh or the illusion at least.

Ok I'm gonna try to sleep now.

Hey I Miss Ya!!

So it's hump day or Wednesday and that means its scrap and dash time at K2 Scrapbook store here in Sarasota. I love love going there because I always meet someone new. But the best part is that, just for $5 we can make a layout. Everything you need is there and you just have to put it together.

So for this week I made this. The original layout only had 1 picture but I had to add another. This picture was taken when the Southern Division Research peeps travelled to Nashville. That's Bridget in the picture she handle's the Atlantic Gulf Coast but recently she moved over to the dark side and became an Account Exec. Ouch!! Anyway I loved working with her and having her as part of the team. She's been an AE for about a month now and it's so weird not talking to another girl in the team. I'm pretty much stuck with two other guys...love them to death but it's different to have another girl to bond with. I'm just so sad that Research trips wont be the same with out her. Vegas will never be the same!!

Anyway I miss yah Bridget!!!

Good Luck!!!

Wow!!! I was gone for a while. Sorry! But I'm back! Honestly I was just not feeling creative at all. When I'm stressed I cant make things. I can only lay on the couch and watch TV. So I've been doing a lot of that lately. I think I'm slowly coming back to my normal self though. Tonight I organized my pics in iphoto and then sent some over to get printed at Sams Club. I'm getting ready to go to a crop at my friend Terry's on Friday. I'm soo looking forward to it.

Anyway I finally got off of the couch at 1:30 am and made this card for a friend. Random I know. But this card was inspired by Ashley Newells card. I saw it and thought...holy crap I have that die cut and have never used it. I also have a fabric type thingy to make those flowers from Prima. So Ashley thank you....you gave my creative mojo back. Hahah!!

I owe a bunch of people responses to their comments. I'll get to them this week!!

My New Life Week 6 Day 3:
I've lost 6 lbs!!!! Yey!!!! Even though I've been such a couch potato I've still been eating really good. Yesterday i caved and bought a bag of baked Cheetos. Right when I got home I immediately put them in little snack bags. Also last Sunday I sat down and pre planned our meals for the next 2 weeks so I can avoid going to get a quick bite to eat at taco bell. All of the meals I picked are vege, chicken and fish based with little carbs.

Today I'm Most Grateful For: all the inspiration I see from such talented ladies out there... whose blog I stock everyday!!!

Just Checkin' In

Hey!

Just checkin' in...been really busy at work and at home. Last night I only had 2 hours of sleep and the day before that, I had about 4 or 5 hours. I'm not doing so good here. Hahah so I've had no time to do anything creative. I'm looking forward to the weekend and hopefully next week I can get my creative mojo back. Anyway physically and mentally I'm just exhausted. Crossing my finger our landscaping gig ends this weekend. I dont really want to deal with it anymore. If we get it done...i'll post a before and after pic.

So who watched The Real Housewives of NJ? HOLY CRAP! Best finale ever. NJ is my favorite....love Caroline and her family!

Anyway I'm not gonna put that up here. It got crazy scandalous. But here's the 1st episode...love Caroline...love Albie!!

My New Life Week 4 Day 3:

I've lost 4.2 lbs!!!! I've cut back on a lot of unhealthy meals and snack. I haven't seen the gym in awhile... but i keep busy and move around. Most of all I really watch what i've been eating.

Atlantis and My Last Gathering

I love this layout! I made this for a gathering I had for Sherri last Sunday. I lifted this from Elizabeth Kartchner...she is so amazing and I love her style.

This layout actually has 7 different techinques used on it; 2 step stamping, embossing, embossed resist, create-a-shade pearl glaze, create-a-shade by using reinkers, painting and distressing. I've been loving Tim Holtz right now and I just had to use some of the techniques I learned from our virtual class with the playground friends.

Well Sherri's gathering was bittersweet. It was my last gathering for Close To My Heart. I'm still going to stay on as a Consultant however I can no longer do gatherings. I gave it a year and it just finally took it's toll on me. I finally felt like it was work and I don't ever want this hobby to feel like work. So I felt it was time to stop. I'm still going to stay on but just take catalog orders. Preparing for the make and takes just took so much time away from me and time is something I lack. I've been fortunate to have parties with at least 10 girls at a time. But it comes with a price...hours worth of preparation. It really is hard work.

To all my CTMH sistah's I'll still be here and I'm still going to give it a whirl till I feel like I can't keep up with my minimum. I'll keep you all posted.

Thank you to all those that have had a gathering with me. I learned so much and met lots of new friends. I'm still here if you need to place an order.
